History has been my passion for as long as I can remember. In 1986, in conjunction with the 125th anniversary of the start of the War Between the States, I discovered the hobby of living history at the reenactment of the Battle of First Manassas. In 1997, I was involved with the creation of the Living History Company that was acclaimed by National Park Service representatives as a 'new dimension' in historic interpretation of the American Civil War. Since then, I have applied this approach to the interpretation of Maryland history in the 17th century at Historic Saint Mary's City and the French & Indian War at Fort Frederick State Park and other locations.
In addition to first and third-person living history programs, White Eagle Consultants can develop and present conventional lectures on a variety of historical topics.
In addition to my credentials, the links on this page provide access to examples of lectures that have been presented in the past, recent publications, and a photo gallery.
